NCAA Betting Odds: Washington State Cougars vs Oregon State Beavers

Washington State Cougars Brock Motum is one of the hottest players in the Pac-12 and Oregon State Beavers Jared Cunningham is one of the leading candidates for conference player of the year honors. Motum is averaging 28.3 points over the last three games to raise his season average to 17.2 points. The junior forward had 26 points and eight rebounds when the Cougars defeated the Beavers 81-76 on Dec. 31. Cunningham leads the conference in scoring (18.0) and steals (2.8) and the junior guard is a prime reason why Oregon State ranks fifth in the nation in scoring at 81.1 points per game.

Oregon State Beavers (15-8): The Beavers have won four of their last five games and routed Utah 76-58 on the road Saturday. Oregon State has been tough to beat at home. The Beavers are 10-2 and their lone conference loss at Gill Coliseum came in quadruple overtime to Stanford. Oregon State is forcing a conference-leading 18.5 turnovers per game and is among the national leaders in steals at 10.3. Sophomore forward Devon Collier is averaging 13.1 points and shooting a conference-best 62.9 percent from the field. Sophomore guard Ahmad Starks is averaging 12.8 points and scored 18 in the earlier meeting against the Cougars. Cunningham scored 21 against Washington State.
Washington State Cougars (12-11): The Cougars have lost three of four games and suffered a 63-60 home loss to UCLA on Saturday. Washington State is winless in five Pac-12 road games, and the defeats include losses at lowly Utah and Arizona State. Motum’s three-game roll began after second-leading scorer Faisal Aden (14.5) was lost for the season with a knee injury. Freshman guard DaVonte Lacy had 18 points and senior point guard Reggie Moore had nine assists in the win over Oregon State earlier this season.
